Here is a list of 2009 programs that Bowwest Community Resource Centre is a part of.
Good Food Box
The Good Food Box program run through the Community Kitchen program is a great way to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for an affordable price! Boxes of produce are available once a month. They come in three sizes:
- Large Box (40 - 45 lbs. produce): $25
- Family Box (30 - 35 lbs. produce): $20
- Senior/Single Box (20 - 25 lbs. produce): $15

C.A.N.S (Communities Accessing Nutritious Staples)
The C.A.N.S program run through the Interfaith Food Bank is an opportunity to by staple items and some perishable items at wholesale prices once a month. Please contact either BowWest locations for order forms and deadline dates.
Sheriff King Drop-In Counseling
A counselor from the YWCA Sheriff King Home is available by appointment at either BowWest sites. This service is available for women, men and children who have witnessed, experienced, or perpetuated abusive behaviour in an intimate relationship.

Catholic Family Service Drop-In Counseling
A counselor from the Catholic Family Service is available by appointment at BowWest-Ranchlands location. This service is available for individual, couple, and family counselling (examples are parent-child conflict; couple issues; depression; anxiety; and healing from trauma).

Families Matter Drop In
Support from trained staff on parenting issues, child development, community resources, friendship from other parents and children and much more.
Drop in every Wednesday 9-noon, Ranchland location.
Clothing Room
Free clothing for all ages available at our Ranchlands location!
Clothing room is open Mondays 1-3:30 and Wednesdays 9-12noon
